I am a 60 year old married mom. I went from drawing on walls, art projects in grade school, to mixed media art in High school. In 1987 I went back to college enrolling into a Graphic Arts course for a year. Loved it!
I was able to get quite a few freelance art jobs from local area businesses and work at
a temp agency. I assembled shower heads
for a company. Then I was asked to do line drawings of products and page assembly of their catalog.
I enjoyed creating the graphics on shirts
for the annual Buddy Holly Tribute, held in Clear Lake, Iowa. I did this for three years,
as well as designed dollar sized flyers for the Hobo Convention held in Britt, Iowa. I drew one design for Easter Seals and reproduced
a drawing for the State Historical Society in Des Moines, Iowa.

First of three shirt designs I drew for the yearly
tributes.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Art, with an emphasis in
Graphic Design in 1996, from Mount Mercy College (now a university).
I wrote two children's books and was printed through
Star America Publishing (formerly Publish American).
The Mighty Beasts is a book about the many different dinosaurs
and prehistoric beasts that once roamed the earth.
The Monkey And The Frog is about a frog who journeys away
from his home by the pond.
Far Left is line art for small plate fixed to a piece
of Universal workout equipment I drew for
Sanchez Graphics. Near Left is a line drawing
for a local insulation company catalog.
